Return Policy
We want you to love what you bought. If something isn't right, we'll make it right — no restocking fee, no rebuttal email, no questions designed to wear you down.
Return window
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return for a full refund. After 30 days we can no longer accept returns or issue refunds.
What can be returned
We accept returns on any product that is:

Unused, or only lightly tested (a single use to check shade match is fine — we get it).

In its original packaging where possible.

Purchased directly from veralanecosmetics.com.
For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on items that have been heavily used, contaminated, or damaged after delivery.
How to start a return

Return shipping cost
Returns are free. We provide a prepaid return label so you don't pay anything to send the item back to us.
Refund timing
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been inspected, we process your refund within 5-7 business days. The refund goes back to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or card issuer it can take an additional 3-10 business days to appear on your statement.
Restocking fees
There is no restocking fee. You'll receive 100% of the price you paid for any returned item, including any sales tax originally charged.
Original shipping charges
If you paid a shipping fee on your original order (i.e. your order was under $60), the shipping fee will also be refunded as part of a full return. If you only return part of your order and the remainder still qualifies for free shipping, no shipping refund applies.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with the wrong item, email hello@veralanecosmetics.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We'll send a replacement at no cost or refund the affected item in full — your choice.
Exchanges
We don't process exchanges directly. If you'd like a different shade or product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want. This is faster than a manual exchange and means you don't wait for the return to arrive before the new order ships.
Late or missing refunds
If 14 business days have passed since your return was delivered to us and you haven't received your refund, please first check with your bank or card issuer — refunds can take time to post. If it still hasn't appeared, email hello@veralanecosmetics.com with your order number and we'll investigate the same day.
Sale items
Sale and promotional items are eligible for refund under the same terms as full-price items.
Subscriptions
If you'd like to cancel an active subscription, you can do it from your account page or by emailing hello@veralanecosmetics.com. Subscription orders that have already shipped are subject to the standard 30-day return window above.
